The island of Ios is located in the Southeast Aegean, surrounded by the islands of Naxos, Sikinos, Santorini and Amorgos. The island measures 17 km long by 7.5 km wide, 108 sq. km in area and is relatively sparsely populated. You need to stay more than just a few days to explore it from one end to the other and enjoy the loveliest sites.
